our history

Abigail Selby and Eric Selby began performing together in March of 2014. They initially planned to expand to a larger group, but after some time, decided to stay as a duo, primarily focusing on the instrumentation of harp, drums and vocals (with a little guitar and keys thrown in for creative good measure). In January of 2015, Abigail and Eric began recording their self-titled EP as well as their first full-length album, "Shedding Shadows," with their debut album release concert being held at Washington, D.C.'s historic Blues Alley. In early 2016, Abigail and Eric had a successful tour of the southeast United States, supporting both their EP release and their full-length CD. Both releases have received airplay throughout the U.S. and the world. In the Summer of 2017, Abigail and Eric performed on the west coast of the United States, including shows in Los Angeles and San Diego, California. While on the west coast, Abigail and Eric recently created a music video for Soultone Cymbals in Los Angeles, CA. They recently released their second full-length album, "Gypsy Second" on January 1st, 2018.

who we are

"A collection of genre-bent creativity...a whole new landscape with evocative time signatures and interwoven classic-led melodies."

~ Carol Campbell, WERA-FM, Arlington, VA

performance locations

Their music has been described as "genre-bending" and "courageous," Abigail Selby & Eric Selby are two songwriters who perform their original music on electric harp, keys, guitar, vocals, drums & percussion: a true fusion of Celtic, psychedelic, jazz, indie, blues and rock. Within their music, Abigail and Eric attempt to magnify their sound beyond what you might think two people can create. Their music can be seen as a true original and unique art piece that could only be described if you've experienced it.
